Enough?

You may never see the tears stream down my face,

But you know they are there,

You may never see my smile fade,

But you know my smile is fake.

Everyday you play along with my fake act,

Not wanting to hear about my day,

Never asking if I'm okay,

Is it because you don't care?

As the sun shines in the sky,

The smile is on my face,

But it never seems to reach my eyes,

When the night sky takes over reality is shown.

Maybe I was never enough,

I may never be,

But if only I was enough for myself,

Then I could finally be happy.
